Diane Brady

Diane Brady is an award-winning business journalist and author who has interviewed newsmakers worldwide and often speaks about the global business landscape. As editorial director of the Fortune CEO Initiative, she brings together a growing community of global business leaders through conversations, content and connections. She is also executive director of Fortune Live Media and interviews newsmakers for the magazine and the CEO Daily newsletter.
 
Prior to joining Fortune in February 2024, Diane was Assistant Managing Editor at Forbes, where she oversaw leadership coverage, C-suite networks and editorial video while building out new events and franchises. She previously worked for McKinsey, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, and Maclean’s. Her book “Fraternity” was named one of Amazon’s best books of 2012, and she also cowrote the acclaimed “Connecting the Dots” with former Cisco CEO John Chambers.
